Major Update 1.0


GENERAL

  •  Sleep resets energy but requires 20% hunger
  •  Chopping / shooting requires energy which scales with hunger
  •  Added inventory system (I to toggle)
  •  Food can be eaten with RMB from inventory to restore hunger
  •  Add stamina to HUD, moved hunger, money and wood to inventory
  •  Hi-score and save/load system
  •  Game over if you need to sleep and don't have enough wood/food to survive
  •  Added store where you can sell wood and buy food/seeds with money
  •  Added  menu screen (new, load, quit)
  •  Added intro sequence
  •  Added death sequence
  •  Transition screen over nights showing food and wood depleted and new day
  •  Added snow/blizzard effect
  •  Added cabin and forest art
  •  Balance difficulty
  •  Trees now have permanence (no respawn)
  •  Added bunny and deer
  •  Added shotgun and ammo (purchased from store) with aim and shoot
  •  Trees now have collision boxes
  •  Dropped items now have permanence
  •  Change seeds to inventory planting
  • Add in day / night cycle with sun passing through sky and respective hue
  • Changed blizzard to get stronger as days progress
  • Hit animation and death sprite added for animals
  • Item drops from animals and trees
  • Inventory clears and replaces with starter inventory on new game, death and saves every night
  • Added dog which follows and sits (good boy)
  • When starving, stamina now drains faster
  • If stamina runs to 0% the player faints and wakes up the next day with lower hunger
  • If the player stays out too late you faint and wake up next day with lower hunger
  • Draw sprites for raw and cooked meat
  • Added cooking system in cabin at fireplace (E to cook)
